This is a traditional farmers’ market with variety of local foods and accommodations for picnicking and listening to music. There is also a playground for those with younger children. It is a nice family-friendly environment.

WAAA Day Out For Autism

The event is a fund raiser for the Washington Autism Alliance & Advocacy (WAAA) organization. WAAA provides services and support for individuals, families and organizations dealing with the challenges of autism. This event includes a walkathon as well as booths from several organizations providing related information and services.

Life Enrichment Opportunities (LEO) Mothers Day Plant Swap
This year, instead of the traditional Mothers Day brunch, there will be a plant-swap and entertainment event sponsored by LEO. LEO is a community based non-profit organization that advocates for and works to support individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals through supportive housing, recreation, employment opportunities and community education.

We will be doing a set of original music by Charley Rowan on keyboards/vocals, Walter White on bass/vocals and Randy Doak/vocals on drums. Come on out and dance to grooves with flavors from New Orleans, Americana, etc… Also on the bill are Planet Fly and Mia Vista.

After a break in 2020, this event resumes the yearly benefit at the West Seattle Nursery for the Furry Faces animal support organization. Furry Faces and Teri Ensley do amazing work supporting pets and pet owners. The West Seattle Nursery is a great environment for live music surrounded by beautiful sights and smells. This is one of my favorite events.

This is another performance at the Phinney Community Center where instead of the traditional farmers’ market there will be a variety of local food trucks and accommodations for picnicking and listening to music. There is also a playground for those with younger children. It will be fun and different.

Ortingfest 10 will feature four bands throughout the day and evening. I will be the opening act from 2:00 – 3:00 in the afternoon. This will be an original rock performance where I have pre-recorded bass and drum tracks over which I will sing and play/live-loop electric guitar. I’m excited to perform many of these songs that don’t get a lot of exposure in my acoustic gigs.
Timothy is a multi-talented musician from Seattle, WA, specializing in classical guitar, as well as electronic and pop music. He has composed, recorded, performed and improvised as a solo artist and with various groups at festivals, music clubs, galleries, and special events, both public and private. His productions have also included multi-disciplinary performances with dance, spoken word, robotics and visual media such as live, improvised music for movies in the park and soundtrack recordings for informational and artistic videos. Tim enjoys experimenting with digital looping, iPad technology and the ever-changing field of tools available to the modern musician.
